Right now, I’m sat on a beach in the glorious sunshine, in the knowledge that I have another two days of holiday remaining… and it feels incredible!
Today I wanted to talk about a brand new, vegan eyeliner I tried last week – the limited edition Tarte Amazonian Clay Pot in ‘Mint’.
I’d had this in my drawer for a while and was eager to test it – the pot, although quite small, included a thick vibrant mint paint, suitable for application with a thin makeup brush.
Anyway, the eyeliner was super easy to apply and the consistency was really buildable, so you can make the wing as intense as you like – I obviously decided to layer this up for a vibrant result.
I really, really like the fact that although it’s super vibrant, unlike other liquid alternatives like the NYX collection, this is never going to crack due to the nourishing, creamy nature of the formulation.
To form a smooth flick, it took me an instant – all I did was load the end of a small flat Smashbox blush with product and followed the lash line… it consistently spread better than I could have even imagined. It also lasted the entire day, which was an added bonus!
Best of all? It perfectly flattered two new products I was also testing – ‘lightyear’ from the Urban Decay Moondust palette and the Lime Crime Perlees Lipstick in ‘Roswell’ (I’ll be reviewing both in the next few weeks).
