Kind Natured Coconut and Monoi Sugar Scrub

I know, I know – I’m forever talking about skincare and makeup products, but never bath & body treats

The irony being, I have SUCH a big collection of all three.

That’s why I’ve decided to introduce you to a product that you may, or may not, be familiar with today; a Coconut & Monoi Foaming Sugar Scrub produced by a brand called Kind Natured – available at Boots stores and online.

Before I discuss my initial thoughts on this product, I just wanted to share a few unique selling points with you guys:

  • It’s vegetarian AND vegan-friendly.
  • As it’s produced by a UK manufacturer, the brand is 100% cruelty-free.
  • 97% of the ingredients are NATURAL.
  • It’s free from Sulphates…
  • And Parabens…
  • AND Petrochemicals.
  • The price points are really affordable; this product will set you back roughly £5.99.

As far as the formulation and smell are concerned…

This sugary (but soft) textured scrub smells incredible – a gorgeous floral blend with a hint of coconut. Think of the gorgeous scent that fills your nostrils when you envisage a Mediterranean vacation… and THAT’S what you can expect.

As per the brand’s recommendations, I’ve been applying the product roughly 1-2 times a week (if not a few more) for about a month now.

I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how soft my skin is feeling, even when I haven’t applied a moisturiser afterwards, which I largely contribute towards the inclusion of Shea Butter in the formulation.

There is just one thing to remember…

Although advertised as a ‘foaming’ sugar scrub, I would say that the consistency lathers more than it foams (which isn’t an issue, from my perspective – just something I thought you should know).

When massaged into damp skin, the product instantly transforms into a cream-like texture, and as the sugar granules aren’t too abrasive, its a perfect choice for normal and dry skin types… as advertised on the packaging!
