Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara – Review
You guys know how much I love a good pair of falsies, but sometimes, it’s nice to embrace natural lashes!
Unfortunately, the eyelashes my parents graced me with are small and stumpy, so I’ve struggled to find a ‘wow factor’ mascara… until now.
Truth be told, at first, I didn’t notice dramatic impact.
The tube was funky (a snake-skin type fabric) and I thought that was about as impressed as I was going to be. But of course, Tarte pulled it out of the bag once again…
The wand itself is quite long and thin (but not TOO thin) and once I nailed the specific motion to build-up extreme volume (it just takes a few layers) I was totally impressed.
Due to the nature of the formulation and wand, the product gets nicely distributed throughout the lashes, and when applied to extremely clean lashes, they can easily be separated.
And because it’s been designed to be waterproof, the product is a little resilient by the end of the day when you’re desperate to scrape off an entire face of makeup, but this just proves the lasting power of the liquid. Yes ladies, it’s sure to withstand the crying test.
So, you can say bye-bye to the horrendous, ‘clumpy’ eyelashes we all dread facing when experimenting with a new mascara.
