Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ‘Lolita’ review

Can we take a moment to appreciate Kat Von D Beauty products now being available in the UK?!

I’ve been admiring the Kat Von D range for such a long time on Instagram, so I’m thrilled to finally test it out!

My first purchase from the Debenhams Beauty Club was the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Lolita’.

I remember one of my favourite make up artists, Belle Jorden (now Flemming), sharing a photo or a video wearing this beautiful lipstick and I knew I needed it in my life! When I reached the checkout I was muttering ‘you can never have too many lipsticks’ to myself to justify the new purchase, with at least 100 floating about my room…

Anyway, I thought I would never find a lipstick which would top the matte, long-lasting consistency of the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Lipstick range, but I was wrong.

The Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick stands the test of time (and multiple drinks), and requires minimal re-applications throughout the day. Besides the beautiful consistency, the colours available are incredible (Lolita I is gorgeous) and best of all? The lips feel SO soft, whether you apply your lipstick once or 20 times a day.

This is the biggest difference between Gerard Cosmetics and Kat Von D Beauty. Gerard Cosmetics drys to feel a little cakey and ‘rough’ when multiple applications are made, but the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick does not.

Marks out of 10? I would give Lolita a solid 9.5.
