Growth hacking – what is it?
And how can you utilise this fairly new digital marketing technique? Followers with an interest for all things beauty, please don’t tune out as this does apply to you.
As a blogger, there are a few key tactics to follow in order to gain a larger online presence and reputation. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and social media both play a huge role in achieving that end follower growth goal.
It’s all about the numbers, and if you have a minimal budget (like myself), growth hacking is hugely important.
It’s about connecting with a community that shares similar interests, feeding the egos of your influencers, using social media strategically and promoting your blog/ideas as much as possible, without the need to invest in paid advertising.
Although slow at first, once this process begins it is very easy to grow a large following. So today I have set myself a personal goal, to achieve 500 blog followers by the end of the month. I’m only on 330 after 3 months of posting, so wish me luck!
Above all, it’s about producing a large quantity of quality, SEO-rich content.
Ignore the ‘quality not quantity’ statement, you can do both at the same time.
