Has your old make-up bag still got potential?

If you’re anything like me, you’ll own two make-up bags

One with all the old reject make-up and one with all the new stuff that you wear on a daily basis.

Okay, so I probably shouldn’t admit to this… BUT I don’t tend to follow the ‘sell by date’ where eyeshadows are concerned, which is why I reached to my make-up bag yesterday to create this look.

If you have any old eyeshadows, I highly suggest thinking about how they could be blended with your newest colours! In my opinion, it’s the technique and brush that makes the eye look complete – just as much as the quality of the product.

To create this autumnal look, I used a vibrant orange shade from my old Accessorize palette and blended it into a really old shimmering champagne/gold pigment that I had in a loose pot (similar to Naked ‘Champagne’ but much more glittery)… I’m not even sure where this emerged from! Completed by a touch of Benefit ‘Kiss Me I’m Tipsy’ along the cut crease, liquid eyeliner and mascara.

So, have you recently discovered any old products that you’ve fallen in love with again? Looking for more details about the products I’ve used for the rest of my face?
